Pasirengimą artėjančiam sezonui tęsiantis Kauno „Žalgirio“ klubas pergalingai pradėjo draugiškų rungtynių ciklą. Martino Schillerio auklėtiniai „Žalgirio“ arenoje už uždarų durų vykusiose rungtynėse rezultatu 92:59 (24:7; 26:17; 24:18; 18;17 ) įveikė Rygos VEF komandą.
