Paulius Murauskas loaned out to Lietkabelis 1

One more Zalgiris product will be soaking in experience in Panevezys, as 18-year-old Paulius Murauskas is on his way to Lietkabelis on a one-year loan deal.

The 18-year-old forward spent last season playing for Nevezis-Optibet, averaging 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 21 minutes of game time in the Betsafe-LKL.

His best game came against Siauliai, as he dropped 23 points in 24 minutes, while also adding 5 rebounds to the tally.

Murauskas is currently on national team duty, as he prepares for the FIBA U18 European Championship.

Lietkabelis recently added another Zalgiris prospect, European U20 vice-champion Mantas Rubstavicius, with Zalgiris retaining the right to bring the sharpshooter back to Kaunas after the season.
