Zalgiris dismantles Siauliai for first home win of the season 5
Zalgiris Kaunas dominated throughout the entire game to capture their first home win of the new season against Siauliai 96-60 (28-14, 27-14, 21-16, 20-16).
Zalgiris took control of the game early on, building a 17-point lead in the first quarter already (28-11). The home team’s dominance continued into the second quarter, and the teams were separated by a whopping 27-point margin after the first half (55-28).
The second half was just a formality as all 12 Zalgiris players appeared on the court with 11 scoring at least a point.
Edgaras Ulanovas was the top scorer on the Zalgiris roster with 15 points. Tomas Dimsa and Laurynas Birutis added 14 points each. Arnas Butkevicius had the third-best PIR mark on the team without scoring a single point. Butkevicius had 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks for 16 PIR.
