Zalgiris Coaching Clinic set for a return in March 0

The Zalgiris Kaunas organization is once again hosting the Zalgiris Coaching Clinic.

On the 28-31 of March, the Zalgiris Coaching Clinic will bring together coaches looking to improve and learn, as participants will be invited to spectate Zalgiris Basketball Academy, Zalgiris-2, Zalgiris-3 and the main team’s practices.

Zalgiris deputy director Paulius Jankunas will present on the structure of the organization, values and work principles, while Zalgiris Basketball Academy director Martynas Rackauskas and head of the youth program Gediminas Navickas will have a presentation about the growing youth pyramid.

Participants will also have lectures on the athletic preparation of sportsmen, while Benas Matkevicius from Boston Celtics will present the main insights of players scouting for NBA Draft. One of the presenters will be former Danish national team coach Erez Bittman, who once was a participant in these courses.

After the exercises and lectures, all the participants will be invited to watch Zalgiris’ EuroLeague home games together. On the 29^th of March, Zalgiris hosts AS Monaco, followed by a face-off against Valencia Basket on the 31^st. One of the program’s parts also includes a visit to a Zalgiris-2 game.
