Style experts Hayes and Taylor: who’s got the best look? 0

Zalgiris’ Americans Kevarrius Hayes and Isaiah Taylor continue the team’s annual tradition and assess their own and their teammates’ pre-game fashion style in Zalgiris TV’s Zalgiris React column.

In the first episode, the Zalgiris players gave scores (from 1 to 10) to their teammates for the outfits before the team’s Euroleague games. The players looked at the whole outfit ensemble – from shoes to outerwear – when rating the photos.

“It must be cold outside, a high neck sweater, a combination of grey and black. Nice dark colors. I give it a 6. He is also very serious. He looks like he’s about to go and make some shots”, said the duo about Tyler Cavanaugh’s style.

It turns out that Zalgiris’ teammate from Latvia, Rolands Smits, also surprised the Americans. Both Zalgiris React experts considered the big man a bit older.

“Brother, when I first joined the team, I thought Rolands was about 30 years old. You know, I won’t lie. I thought Rolands was actually 34 or 35. It’s the way he talks. So serious. Boom and there it is. I really thought he was 30. But no – he’s 27. He’s dressed in casual clothes,” the Zalgiris teammates said about their teammate Rolands Smits.

In the photos, when they came back to the joint photo of Cavanaugh and Arnas Butkevicius, Hayes and Taylor dived into the description of the European style.

“I really like the jacket. Gives such a European style look. Definitely European style. A sweater under a jacket. Nice blue jeans. I like the combination of pink and blue. T-Cavi didn’t really spend a lot of money here,” laughed the Zalgiris players.
