Keenan Evans and Ignas Brazdeikis set to stay in Kaunas 12
Two more spots in Zalgiris Kaunas’ roster were officially filled – the contracts of Keenan Evans and Ignas Brazdeikis came into force.
Both players had dates in their contracts before which they could leave for other clubs, but both of them will continue to play in Kaunas in the upcoming season.
For both Evans and Brazdeikis, this will be their second season in Zalgiris.
Evans was averaging 15.9 points (45.8% three-pointers), 3.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 17.4 points per game in the EuroLeague before getting injured in January.
Meanwhile, Brazdeikis scored 11.6 points, grabbed 2.9 rebounds and had 1.3 assists per game in his debut EuroLeague season.
Brazdeikis, who will soon return to Lithuania, will initially join the Lithuanian men’s national team preparing for the World Basketball Championship.
