Jankunas leads Zalgiris past Juventus 0
It looks like Zalgiris will finish the Lithuanian League (LKL) regular season without a single defeat, as the team from Kaunas defeated Juventus 93-77 (20-16, 18-19, 36-20, 19-20) on the road after a great performance in the third quarter.
Paulius Jankunas led the visitors with 32 points and 7 rebounds, which brought the forward a total ranking of 32. Tomas Delininkaitis scored 13, Tadas Klimavicius had 11 points and 7 rebounds while Mantas Kalnietis finished with 9 points and 6 assists.
Juventus’ forward Zydrunas Urbonas had a team-high 17 points and Aurimtas Adomaitis collected a double-double of 15 points and 7 rebounds. Gintautas Matulis chipped in with 11 points while Jonas Elvikis and Marius Prekevicius had 10 points each for the hosts.
