CSKA dismantle Zalgiris in Kaunas 0
Zalgiris dropped its second consecutive game in the Top 16 after being dismantled 87-73 by CSKA at home in Kaunas on Thursday evening.
The Lithuanian champions dropped to a 1-3 record following the loss, while the Russian side has won all four games in the second stage of Euroleague.
Despite sticking close for the majority of the first half, Zalgiris ran out of breath in the second half, singlehandedly dominating the game and taking an easy victory.
Marko Popovic had a team-high 16 points, Tremmell Darden scored 12 for Zalgiris, while Oliver Lafayette chipped in with 11 points.
Milos Teodosic made 5-of-10 three-pointers and collected 24 points for CSKA, Vladimir Micov nailed 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and finished with 24 points, while Viktor Khryapa added 3-of-4 long-range shots and chipped in with 15 points.
