Zalgiris wins Kaunas derby with ease 0

After two weeks break Zalgiris renewed the games in Lithuanian League (LKL) on Sunday. In Kaunas derby the greens cruised to victory on the road over LSU-Atletas 79-50.

Zalgiris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to LSU-Atletas’ 14.

The visitors outrebounded LSU-Atletas 43-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Zalgiris looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
