Cards disclosed: OlyBet is a new general sponsor for Zalgiris 0

Lithuanian basketball club Zalgiris Kaunas introduced its general sponsor. That is a new betting, virtual games and slot machines brand name in Lithuania “OlyBet” under “Olympic Casino”. Zalgiris representatives claimed that with such a powerful general sponsor on board, they are able to strengthen the team with a couple of experienced players and will also be able to build a bright future for the team.

“We have been striving to support the big sport for a long time. Therefore, introducing the brand name “OlyBet” in Lithuania has finally allowed us to achieve the goal. We take a step to the betting and virtual games market, that is going to be valid from January 1, 2016. Therefore, we are opening betting salons in the nearest future and will try to bring Lithuanian betting market to the next level. We will offer betting games of better quality, better choice and more advanced technologically. Zalgiris team has been chosen not by accident. It is the eldest and the most honored basketball club in Lithuania, therefore, we did not have a doubt. We wish to make a long-term commitment to support Zalgiris and strongly believe that such a partnership is going to strengthen the team”, – said the managing director of “OlyBet” Veiko Krünberg.

We can only disclose that thanks to “OlyBet”, we are now able to start a new season with a more powerful team and foster Lithuanian basketball talents”, – said Zalgiris managing director Paulius Motiejunas.

During the press conference the managing director of “OlyBet” Veiko Krünberg from Estonia signed a symbolic agreement with Zalgiris managing director Paulius Motiejunas exchanging symbolic gifts (see photos attached).

Also, Mr. Motiejunas together with Zalgiris head coach Gintaras Krapikas, coach Sarunas Jasikevicius and team captain Paulius Jankunas introduced teams’ plans for the upcoming season.

“This year Zalgiris will have five players from Lithuanian national basketball team who performed excellently in recent Eurobasket2015. This core is strengthened by few foreign players to round up a competitive team. Having such support from the general sponsor and also the fans, we are ready to achieve great results”, – said Mr. Motiejunas.

Zalgiris team has disclosed that with such support from the sponsors they wish to exceed the minimum goal of advancing to Euroleague’s Top-16 round and will set even higher goals in the closest future.
