Science in Sport becomes the official sports nutrition partner of Zalgiris 2

Endurance sports nutrition pioneer, Science in Sport (SiS), became the Official Sports Nutrition partner to Zalgiris Kaunas in 2015/2016 season.

Nutrition supplements cannot turn a bad athlete into a good one, but they can help a good one become even better. Since 1992 SiS has supplied cutting-edge nutrition products to Olympic and world champions and amateur athletes. Throughout that period, SiS has worked closely with leading research institutes, sports scientists, performance directors and elite athletes to stay at the forefront of sports nutrition.

Zalgiris Kaunas will benefit from using two core SiS product ranges: firstly, SiS GO which comprises of energy powders, isotonic gels, energy bars and hydration tablets; and secondly SiS REGO which includes famous protein based recovery powders and bars. All SiS supplements will enable players of Lithuanian basketball powerhouse to train hard, play even harder and recover much quicker than before.

SiS products are manufactured in the UK at the company’s Innovation Centre in Lancashire. All SiS products are Informed-Sport tested and accredited. This accreditation gives confirmation to every athlete, that SiS can be trusted to provide clean and doping-free nutrition products.

In Baltics, SiS is currently the official sports nutrition supplier to Kalev Cramo, Tartu Rock, FC Flora, Estonian national volley-ball team.
