Zalgiris signs point guard Jerome Randle 9
Zalgiris Kaunas found a new playmaker in Jerome Randle, who signed a contract for the remainder of the season. He will arrive to Lithuania this weekend.
Randle (1.75 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Adelaide 36ers of Australian NBL league, where he averaged 23 points and 5.2 assists in 23 games this season.
He led all players in scoring this NBL season and has won the 2015-16 NBL Australia Post Fan’s MVP Award.
Randle has also played for Aliaga Petkim, Trabzonspor Medical Park, Eskisehir Basket and Turk Telekom Ankara of Turkey, Elitzur Netanya of Israel, Frisco and Maine of the D-League, Azovmash Mariupol of Ukraine, Foshan Long Lions of China and Belgacom Spirou Charleroi of Belgium.
He helped Charleroi win the Belgian League title in 2013 and has been a member of the Ukrainian national team, averaging 13.2 points and 4.4 rebounds at EuroBasket 2015.
