Grigonis captures Betsafe LKL Player of the Week honors 0

Marius Grigonis of Zalgiris earned the Betsafe LKL Player of the Week honors after impressive back-to-back performances in wins against Dzukija and Siauliai.

The defending champions had a good week, moving back atop the league table after beating Dzukija 94-65 and topping Siauliai 102-61, as the 24-year-old Lithuanian international enjoyed some of his best basketball of the season.

In the two games, Grigonis averaged 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds for an average efficiency mark of 25, including a 25-point and 7-rebound display against Dzukija.

There were two Rytas players on the Team of the Week in Arnas Butkevicius and D.J. Seeley, while Neptunas swingman Kyle Weaver and Skycop center Darjus Lavrinovic rounded out the lineup.
