Zalgiris gets back to winning ways by beating Juventus 16
After dropping a game in Prienai a few days ago, Zalgiris returned to winning ways with an 82-68 victory over Juventus at home at the Zalgirio Arena on Thursday.
The Arturas Milaknis-led defending Betsafe LKL champions sunk the visitors from Utena in the third and fourth quarters after a pretty evenly-matched first half.
Milaknis was the top scorer for the Greens with 15 points, going 5-of-8 from the three-point arc and adding 5 assists. Meanwhile, Leo Westermann and Marius Grigonis collected 12 points apiece.
For Juventus, Tomas Dimsa and Martinas Geben shared a team-high mark of 13 points, Dovis Bickauskis scored 11 points, while Arvydas Siksnius had 10.
