Zalgiris juniors leave ANGT Finals winless 0

U18 Mega Bemax Belgrade remained undefeated at the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals with a 75-61 victory over U18 Zalgiris Kaunas.

Mega will take on U18 Real Madrid in the championship game on Sunday morning at Fernando Buesa Arena.

On Saturday, Mega trailed midway through the second quarter and led 36-31 at halftime, but took control with a 20-9 third quarter. Mega outshot Zalgiris from all distances and intimidated Zalgiris’s big men with 8 blocked shots – 5 of which came from Mihailo Musikic.

Petar Kovacevic paced the winners with 14 points off the bench and Marko Kljajevic added 13 points.

Modestas Kancleris led Zalgiris with 16 point and 10 rebounds and Paulius Murauskas tallied 12 and 7.
