Davies named MVP of the Semifinals 1

Enjoying another stellar season in the Betsafe LKL, Zalgiris five-man Brandon Davies added the MVP award for the Semifinals to an already extensive list of personal accolades.

In the two games against Lietkabelis, Davies averaged 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists, as the defending champions swept their opponents 2-0 to ease into the Finals for the club’s 26th consecutive appearance.

Joining him on the Team of the Round was Quarterfinals MVP Arnas Butkevicius of Rytas, who had even better numbers than Davies with 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

However, he did need a lot more court time to rack up the digits, while Davies played just over 18 minutes per game in the series against Lietkabelis.

The Team of the Semi-Finals was rounded out by Jamar Wilson of Lietkabelis, Zalgiris swingman Marius Grigonis and Neptunas big man Gytis Masiulis.
