Registration open for EuroLeague-level Zalgiris Professional Camp 0
For the second consecutive summer, Zalgiris will be hosting an exceptional training camp for professional players, aged 16 and over.
Between the 29th of July and the 10th of August, camp participants will be practicing in EuroLeague-level conditions with coaches from the Zalgiris system – Tomas Masiulis, Mantas Sernius, Darius Sirtautas, amongst others. Justinas Grainys and Nerijus Navickas, who are responsible for the physical preparations of the main Zalgiris team, will also be taking on the role during the entirety of the camp.
Grainys noted that the camp not only helps prepare the players’ bodies for the season and helps them develop their skill set, but also allows to pick up on the small details and elements that help Zalgiris’ players perform at the highest level.
“The main goal of this training camp is to pass on everything that we do in Zalgiris. We want to showcase the training process, but also have the players meet all kinds of specialists, teach them to take care of their body, nutrition and other elements of the game.”
Last season’s Zalgiris Professional Camp brought in players such as Marius Grigonis, Paulius Valinskas, Saulius Kulvietis and Donatas Tarolis, who all reached the final stages of the Betsafe LKL battles in Lithuania.
The camp will consist of 22 activities (11 working on skills and 11 working on physical preparations). Players will also be taken care of after practices, with the Zalgiris medical staff and all the facilities in Zalgirio Arena available for use – massages, sauna, ice baths, while additional swimming pool and football activities would also be available.
All the players will be examined individually during a physical test, where their functional movement will be evaluated. A healthy nutrition program will be prepared for the Zalgiris Professional Camp participants, as the restaurant Sala will take care of the catering during business days.
Registration to the top-quality training camp is open until the 1st of July, with the participation fee starting at 999 euros until the 15th of June. The price is set to increase afterwards. A 10 percent discount is applied to attendees coming back for a second consecutive time.
