2019-2020 EuroLeague schedule announced 6
Just over 2 months remain until the start of the 2019-2020 EuroLeague season and the official schedule for the regular season has just been announced. The 18-team tournament will see each team playing a grand total of 34 games, as the number of double weeks increased from 5 to 7.
Zalgiris will have their season opener with the backing of the home fans, as they face Baskonia Vitoria in Zalgirio Arena on the 4th of October. A game against Baskonia was the season opener last season, too.
A week later, on the 11th of October, Sarunas Jasikevicius’ troops will head to Milan, where they look to take on AX Armani.
The Lithuanian representatives in the tournament will play 10 games at home in the first leg of the season and 7 in the second.
The regular season will be finished with two games in Zalgirio Arena: on the 3rd of April Zalgiris will face defending EuroLeague champions CSKA Moscow, followed by a game against Bayern Munich a week later.
