Zach LeDay becomes MVP of the Betsafe-LKL week 0

Zalgiris reached the season’s biggest victory this Sunday, as they steamrolled past Pasvalys in the Betsafe-LKL. The one-way game was also marked with several terrific individual performances.

One of those was Zach LeDay’s show. In just 15 minutes of action, the American big man put up 21 points, 7 rebounds and a whopping 31 ranking points. His season highs in points and efficiency led Zalgiris to an easy 108-64 win and earned him the player of the week honors.

Rokas Jokubaitis also played his best game in the Betsafe-LKL, dropping 11 points, 6 rebounds and a total efficiency of 23. It seems playing against Pieno zvaigzdes has been a joy for the young guard this season, as last time out he put up a career high 16 points against the Pasvalys side.

With a good practice run in the Betsafe-LKL this weekend, Zalgiris is now calling all hands on deck for their EuroLeague matchup against Panathinaikos at home this Tuesday.
