#TimeOutZalgiris visits Zalgiris game against Rytas 0

Zalgiris took yet another victory in the Betsafe-LKL this Sunday, as they gifted the fans a victory in the Lithuanian derby against Rytas Vilnius.

#TimeOutZalgiris host Dalia Belickaite was there with her crew to capture the action on the sidelines and backstage of the arena.

Before the game began, fans joined accordionist Martynas Levickis as he masterfully played the Lithuanian anthem. He will be back playing in Zalgirio Arena on the 22nd of December during his solo concert.

As the game tipped off, Martynas Levickis talked about his connection with basketball.

“When I was in school, I was pushed into a basketball team, although I had never played the sport. So I guess basketball is still related to stress for me. Nevertheless, when you come to a game like this, you understand that everything is possible.”

The musician, who’s played for the British royal family and crowds of 20 thousand, stressed that support is as important for artists, as it is for basketball players.

“Support is extremely important. Zalgiris fans concentrate on a shot, and you can feel that it’s important to the players. That feeling of unity is incredible.”
