Tomas Dimsa set to make his return to Zalgiris 23
As the green-and-whites prepare the line-up for the upcoming season, they‘ve announced the signing of Tomas Dimsa to a two-year contract with an option for a third season.
The 26-year-old will be making his return to Kaunas after a terrific season in Lietkabelis. The last time he represented Zalgiris was in 2015.
“The feeling is great. When I left Zalgiris I always lived with the thought that I want to come back. Perhaps I’m finally erady for it and I’m really happy. If you don’t have any goals, there’s no way to reach them.” – said the newly signed Dimsa.
The swingman played his best season in Panevezys, averaging 14.1 points, 3.6 assists and an efficiency rating of 13.9 in the Betsafe LKL.
His averages in the FIBA Champions League were slightly lower – 13.2 points, 3.1 assists and 8.1 efficiency.
Dimsa also made his debut in the Lithuanian national team this February, and displayed lights-out shooting throughout the entire season, shooting at over a 40-percent clip both on the national and international stage.
