Tickets to EuroLeague We’re Back Preseason Tour for sale on Friday 6
While Zalgiris has been getting ready for the season in practices and friendly games behind closed doors for a while now, the green-and-white loyals will soon have a chance to see their team’s games live.
Zalgirio Arena is set to host the EuroLeague We’re Back Preseason Tour on the 12-13th of September, as the Lithuanian champions will be joined by AX Armani Exchange, Panathinaikos Athens and ALBA Berlin.
Ticket sale to the tournament is set to begin at 10:00 on Friday, the 4th of September, and priority to purchase the tickets will be given to last year’s season ticket holders and Zalgiris Honor Club members.
Two tickets will be available for purchase for each season ticket holder, while the season ticket holders who chose to receive the discount for a season ticket as a form of reimbursement for last season’s cancelled games, will receive their compensation as credit in their account, and will be able to use it for the tickets.
The tickets will only be available for purchase online, as public sale will begin at 13:00 on Monday, the 7th of September.
The Semi-Finals of the tournament will take place on Saturday, the 12th of September, as the teams from Milano and Berlin battle at 16:00, followed by a matchup between Zalgiris and Panathinaikos at 19:00.
The following day, 13th of September, the game times will stay the same, with the game for third place at 16:00, and the final at 19:00. The ticket is valid for both games of the day.
It was announced that starting 1st of September, the number of spectators in events will not be limited, but it will be required to ensure a safe distance between the guests in the venue. The plan is for fans to sit in every second seat and wear a mask for the entirety of the event.
The club will also take preventive measures to ensure the games commence safely. The body temperature of all arena guests, employees and players will be measured, and if it exceeds 37.3, the person will not be admitted to the arena. Disinfection stations will be installed next to each entrance, and extra markings will help control the streams of people. Before each game, all door handles and railings will be disinfected, while after the game, each seat, railings and surfaces in the arena will go through the same process.
Having taken under consideration the situation, Zalgiris has come to the decision to not have season tickets for sale this year, the main reasoning behind it being that the club would not be able to ensure that the season ticket holders’ seat would not change duo to the changing conditions and requirements.
Ticket sales to the regular season will begin after the EuroLeague We‘re Back Preseason Tour, and clients who would like to receive news about the start of ticket sales first, are invited to register here: https://zalgiris.typeform.com/to/WtKhOMLA.
