Zalgiris news: negative tests, upcoming games and virtual entertainment 13
Zalgiris players and staff underwent another series of COVID-19 tests on Wednesday, with all of them coming back negative.
After theses results it was clear that the EuroLeague Round 7 game against Real Madrid will take place as planned this Friday. The game against the Spanish powerhouse has been announced to be EuroLeague‘s game of the week.
The 12 players to be registered for the game is already clear, with only Rokas Jokubaitis and Patricio Garino set to sit this one out.
Tickets purchase priority – for season ticket holders and Zalgiris Honor Club members
According to the instructions of the Lithuanian government, only 300 spectators will be allowed to the game. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase right around half of those tickets, as part of them will be set aside for Zalgiris VIP Skybox renters.
Ticket sales will begin on the 5th of November, at 9:00 with priority given to 2019-2020 season ticket holders and Zalgiris Honor Club members. If any tickets remain unsold, they will be available on public sale at 9:00 on Friday, the 6th of November.
All spectators will have to adhere to social distancing rules and sit only in the designated seats that will be shown on the ticket. Throughout the entirety of the game, masks will be mandatory.
An alternative for fans – a virtual game ticket
With the strict rules in place, allowing just a very limited number of fans into Zalgirio Arena, the club is offering a novel approach to the game – a virtual ticket to Zalgiris‘ EuroLeague home games.
You‘ll be able to support Zalgiris from the comfort of your home, with a Zalgiris quiz show, Andrius Ziurauskas passionate presentation, and quizlets between the quarters, followed by a Q-and-A with Paulius Motiejunas after the game, and an opportunity to ask Martin Schiller questions during the press conference.
The three podium finishes in the final standings of the quiz show will be awarded prizes from the eneba.com e-store.
