Zalgiris and VILVI Group partnership enters second decade 1
As the 2020-2021 basketball season builds up a head of steam, Zalgiris and their long-term partner VILVI Group have agreed to extend their cooperation, that has entered its second decade.
The Vilkyskiu brand became a partner for the club in 2009 and has been well-recognized by the fans, with the Zalgiris logo accompanying their black cat on dairy products. When purchasing these products, fans also add to the financial support of Zalgiris.
From this fall on, the Vilkyskiu pienine company group has changed its cooperative trademark to VILVI Group which was previously used for foreign markets. While the uncertainty of the pandemic-ridden world has changed business approach, the company’s director Gintaras Bertasius noted that despite everything, the love for Zalgiris rose above it all.
Zalgiris director Paulius Motiejunas was happy with the long-term partnership that was just extended even further.
“We’re happy to work shoulder to shoulder and move forward with our long-term partners, who, just like Zalgiris, are always trying to be leaders. This mutual partnership is a pleasant and great example, especially in times like these.”
