Zalgiris earns victory in front of home fans 4
In a game that was marked with the return of fans to arenas, Zalgiris managed to easily overcome Juventus, winning 97-79 in Zalgirio Arena.
The green-and-whites got things going early, racing off to a double-digit lead after the first quarter with Marius Grigonis and Thomas Walkup leading the way.
A 10-point advantage continued growing, and the hosts entered halftime up by 15.
Juventus provided no major threats in the second half, as Zalgiris retained a tangible lead right until the end, ending the game ahead by 18, 97-79.
Marius Grigonis led the way with 15 points to his name, as the trio of Augustine Rubit, Lukas Lekavicius and Thomas Walkup each had 13, with the latter also dishing out 8 assists. Joffrey Lauvergne added 5 boards to his 12 points, while Rokas Jokubaitis finished up with 8.
