Zalgiris wins one more time in Siauliai 3

Zalgiris netted another victory in the Lithuanian basketball league, as they overcame Siauliai on the road, 105-86.

The high-paced affair started off better for the hosts, who led for the most part of the first quarter, 25-26.

Then Karolis Lukosiunas made his 3rd and 4th three-pointers, Paulius Jankunas added 9 points, and Zalgiris was in front 54-45 at halftime.

It was Nigel Hayes turn in the third quarter, as the lead rose to 82-63. Zalgiris cruised to the victory in the fourth with Steve Vasturia scoring the anniversary 100th point.

Hayes was the team’s leading scorer with 18 points. Lukosiunas added 17, as Jankunas chipped in with 14 points and 5 boards.
