The Pakrante entertainment area set to open back up besides Zalgirio Arena 0

As the pandemic restraints bring back hope for people to enjoy events this summer, the area around Zalgirio Arena is setting up to provide the opportunity to spend quality time outside with the reopening of the Pakrante entertainment area.

Last summer, the area hosted a number of concerts from various Lithuanian artists and often drew in the visits of Zalgiris players. This year, Pakrante opens up renewed and is set to widen its specter of events.

Nemunas island is set to be the venue for musicians of various different styles, and will also invite cinema lovers to watch some highly acclaimed movies on the big screen.

It is being considered that the screen would also come to use for basketball fans. If strict requirements for indoor events remain during the final battles of the season, the team’s fans will be invited to watch the games besides it.

This year, Pakrante will make a slight change of location, with the constructions of the water sports center pushing the entertainment area closer to Zalgirio Arena and the Sala restaurant inside it. Not only will it allow visitors to enjoy music besides Nemunas, but will also connect the Pakrante area with the Zalgirio Arena Amphitheatre, which, quarantine requirements permitting, will host the afterparties.

Visitors will have a wide selection of seating, but the Sala restaurant terrace should be viewed as the go-to spot, as it will be turned into a VIP zone during each event with tables, personal bartenders and a special food and drink menu.

If the quarantine requirements permit it, the renewed Zalgirio Arena Amphitheatre will turn into a comfortable lounge area during events, swiftly turning into a night club after it, allowing a great night out until dawn.

One of Lithuania’s top comedians and TV show hosts Justinas Jankevicius will bring his new project Nesiaukite LIVE for a talk show with some of the country’s most vibrant personalities. Interactive conversations, never-before-told stories, special musical performances and plenty of laughter are all guaranteed!

Youth will also have their time to shine, as the self-realisation studio ATIK ESUP are already planning an event cycle in Pakrante.

The first live concert will take place on Sunday, the 6th of June when Saules Kliosas brings out their best to Nemunas island. The concert begins at 19:00 and tickets are already available here.

Neda Malunaviciute and Oleg Ditkovskis will band together for a concert on the 18th of June, and St. John’s day will be celebrated together with RONDO on the 23rd of June.

Pakrante will take into consideration the health safety protocols and situation in the country, with disinfection stands and all the required safety measures.
