Schedule for the 2021–2022 EuroLeague season announced 3

On Wednesday EuroLeague announced the schedule for the upcoming 2021-2022 EuroLeague Regular Season, with the season tipping off on the 30th of September, with Zalgiris taking its’ first test on the 1st of October, as they head out to France for a face-off against ASVEL.

Basketball will return to Zalgirio Arena on the 7th of October, as the Kaunas side looks to take on Zenit St. Petersburg.

There will be a total of 18 teams competing in Europe’s top league this season, with Valencia Basket and Khimki Moscow region being the two departing teams that will be substituted by AS Monaco and Unics Kazan.

The number of double weeks has risen back to 7 with two of them being a back-to-back road game in October.

Zalgiris can look forward to two games in Zalgirio Arena in a single week as well, as they play on the 16th and 19th of November against Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce, with Maccabi and Unics arriving on the 1st and 4th of February, respectively.

Zalgiris will play 9 home games in the first round, with another 8 games in front of the home crowd in the second one.
