Zalgiris Kaunas took their second victory in the Betsafe-LKL championship, as Kazys Maksvytis’ team defeated Prienai Labas GAS 91-66.
With a loud group of travelling fans, the green-and-whites, led by Laurynas Birutis jumped ahead by eight after the first quarter, 24-16.
The game was still far from out of question after three quarters, as Prienai managed to keep afloat, with the visiting Zalgiris leading by 10.
Nevertheless, the green-and-whites managed to put the game to bed with a dominant fourth quarter, as they raced off to a huge win, 91-66.
Laurynas Birutis was the team’s top scorer with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Ignas Brazdeikis added 14, Rolands Smits had 11 points and 6 rebounds, while Edgaras Ulanovas contributed 10 points and 4 boards, as Kevarrius Hayes chipped in with another 10.
