Zalgiris not troubled by Juventus 3

Zalgiris Kaunas secured yet another victory in the Betsafe-LKL, as they defeated Uniclub Casino – Juventus from Utena by a landslide, 109-76. It was 7th win in as many games for Zalgiris.

The first half of the game did not show signs of a blow-out, as only seven points separated the two sides both after the first quarter, and at halftime.

Nevertheless, things really clicked for Zalgiris after the break, as they won the quarter 29-12 and settled the deal early in Zalgirio Arena, leaving the fourth quarter to be nothing more than a formality.

Laurynas Birutis was the team’s highest scorer with 17 points to his name. Ignas Brazdeikis added 16, while Kevarrius Hayes chipped in with 14.

Mantas Kalnietis and Karolis Lukosiunas also entered double-digit scoring with 10 points each, as Lukas Lekavicius ended the game with 9.

    vat kas visiška chuinia, kad negali visoj arenoj nieko nusipirkti už pinigus, tik tom dolbanom kortelėm. Žinau žmonių, kurie iš principo ten dėl to neis. ir tikrai ne biedniausi

    tik šiandien sužinojau, kad arenoje nieko nebegalima nusipirkti už pinigus :(. Esu buvęs šį sezoną, bet nieko nepirkau, todėl ir nepastebėjau to. Tas kontoras, kurios neima grynųjų, apeinu dideliu ratu, todėl labai gaila, kad šitą taisyklę įvedė Žalgiris. Nesakau, kad dėl to į Žalgirį daugiau nebeeisiu, tačiau tikrai sakau, kad jei nueisiu, arenoje nieko nepirksiu.
