Zalgiris’ games sold out until next March 0
With eight soldout games under their belt, Zalgiris Kaunas will have a full house in their next three EuroLeague games to be held in Kaunas during January and February.
Zalgiris can count on the most dedicated fan support any team across the continent can relish.
With the exception of their maiden home game vs. Virtus Bologna on October 18, 2022, Zalgiris have a streak of eight soldout contests that will be further extended to 11.
Starting with the game against Crvena Zvezda next Friday (Jan. 20), and moving forward to the clashes with Partizan and Baskonia in early February (3 and 10, respectively), all tickets have been sold out.
That makes 11 straight games with the maximum capacity at the Zalgirio Arena, the place where the next EuroLeague Final Four will take place.
Zalgiris’ first soldout was against FC Barcelona (15,146 spectators) and ALBA Berlin (14,916 fans). The first EuroLeague home game of the season against Virtus Bologna was viewed by 11,024 people.
Right now, the nearest EuroLeague home match, for which tickets are left, will take place in March. ASVEL Villeurbanne, Olympiacos Piraeus, AS Monaco and Valencia Basket will arrive in Kaunas in the first month of spring, while the last EuroLeague regular season game will be hosted in the Zalgiris arena on April 6 vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Tickets are available for three more games featuring Zalgiris: the Jan. 22 Lithuanian Cup quarter-final vs. Wolves, the Jan. 29 LKL clash with Jovana, and the home game vs. Prienai on February 12.
All this makes it 150,000 tickets sold for Zalgiris EuroLeague home games, a number that’s likely to increase and exceed 200,000 already in February.
