U18 Zalgiris starts ANGT Munich with a win over the hosts 0

The 8-team Adidas Next Generation Tournament started in Munich. U18 Zalgiris Kaunas fended off FC Bayern Munich 82-68 in group B action.

Zalgiris had double-figure scoring from four players and out-rebounded Bayern 52-30, including 25 offensive rebounds, leading to a 21-6 advantage in second-chance points.

Justas Stonkus led the winners with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Vytautas Zygas and Dovydas Buika scored 15 points each for Zalgiris.
