7 seconds or less: Cavanaugh and Hayes take on the Zalgiris Challenge 0

This time, two Zalgiris foreigners – Kevarrius Hayes, who is playing his first season in Kaunas, and Tyler Cavanaugh, who is spending his second year in Lithuania, met one-on-one.

Zalgiris’ American players were asked most of their questions about Lithuania and related topics, as well as the EuroLeague.

The first wave of laughter among the participants was caused by Hayes, who had three Lithuanian words to name, and did not hesitate to include a swear word among them.

The Zalgiris Challenge participants had no trouble naming three Lithuanian Basketball League teams or three Lithuanian cities, but not everything was so simple.

Three European countries without a EuroLeague team were a real challenge and a headache, as was naming the players who are averaging a certain number of points in the EuroLeague this season.

“He did well, but I just think the one with more knowledge won,” the Zalgiris players were giving some light trashtalk after the battle.
