Zalgiris takes commanding victory in Pasvalys 0

Zalgiris brought back another victory to Kaunas in the Betsafe-LKL. Playing on the road, the green-and-whites defeated Pieno zvaigzdes without much hassle, 88-61.

It was two players doing all the damage in the six opening minutes of the game, as Edgaras Ulanovas and Kevarrius Hayes combined for the team’s first 12 points, helping Zalgiris to a nine-point lead.

With a 24-15 scoreline after the opening quarter, the visitors continued building on the strong start and pulled ahead by 13 before the break.
The sights on the court didn’t change much in the second half, as Zalgiris gradually turned this game into a blow-out, winning by 27 in the end.

Edgaras Ulanovas had a game-high 20 points, as Achille Polonara and Laurynas Birutis added 15 apiece. Kevarrius Hayes dropped 12 points and 8 boards, as Ignas Brazdeikis finished up with 11 points and another 8 rebounds for Zalgiris.
