Zalgiris takes care of Utena on home court 1

Zalgiris took their 27th win of the season on the national front by defeating Uniclub Casino-Juventus at home, 92-78.

Zalgiris blew their opponents right out of the water in the opening quarter, going up by 17 after ten minutes, 30-13. The green-and-whites carried a 14-point lead into halftime with a good scoring output from Kevarrius Hayes.

The Utena side managed to regain a bit of ground after the break, cutting the deficit to 10, but they did not manage to get any closer.

Zalgiris safely rode out the lead and ended up winning 92-78.

The trio of Isaiah Taylor, Kevarrius Hayes and Rolands Smits each had 12 points, as Achille Polonara and Arnas Butkevicius added 10 apiece. Karolis Lukosiunas had 9 points, as Dovydas Giedraitis had 8.
