Zalgiris is set to participate in a tournament in Cyprus 0
The first outlines of Zalgiris’ preparations for the new 2023-2024 season are being set. Lithuanian champions will travel to Cyprus to participate in a four-team tournament with the EuroLeague teams.
Zalgiris will also hold a week-long training camp on the Mediterranean island, culminating in a friendly tournament.
Olympiacos Piraeus, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Crvena Zvezda Belgrade will also take part in the tournament, with the two games scheduled on 22-23 September.
The exact tournament schedule will be announced in mid-July. The matches will be played in Engomi, a suburb of the Cypriot capital Nicosia.
Before trip to Cyprus, Zalgiris will be preparing for the season in Lithuania, where several friendly matches will be played.
The first training session for the team is planned at the end of August.
