Zalgiris Kaunas players did not have much time to rest after an important Euroleague victory on Thursday and a long-journey to Ukraine awaited to play Azovmash Mariupol. The plane was delayed for several times and Zalgiris reached the final destination after changing planes in Kyiv and driving from Donetsk to Mariupol by bus.
Marcus Brown, Dainius Salenga and Travis Watson all avoided the tiring journey as they were left in Kaunas. This VTB United League game will not change anything for Zalgiris, as they already hold a ticket to the Final 4, which will be hosted in Kaunas.
