Janavicius loaned to Aisciai Kaunas 0
Zalgiris guard Zygimantas Janavicius will end the season in another team. The young playmaker was loaned to Aisciai Kaunas for the remainder of the season.
Janavicius is expected to make his debut for Aisciai already today as the club from Kaunas will host Suduva Marijampole in a Lithuanian League (LKL) game.
“With two new players on Zalgiris’ roster it became hard for the coaches to distribute the playing time for all the players. Aisciai does have a possibility to fit Janavicius in their rotation and it will be better for the player to end the season in this LKL club. We hope for his improvement to continue and expect to see him back in Zalgiris in the future,” said Zalgiris’ General Director Paulius Motiejunas. Janavicius averaged 5,1 points, 3,5 rebounds and 2,1 assists in the 8 LKL games that he played this season for Zalgiris.
