Zalgiris brings back the Lithuanian Cup to Kaunas 0
Zalgiris regained the Lithuanian Cup after a two year break by winning a thrilling final against Lietuvos Rytas in Alytus. The club from Kaunas dethroned the previous Cup holders from the country’s capital 81-69 (18-17, 16-15, 19-23, 24-16).

Travis Watson led the Greens in scoring with 13 points, Paulius Jankunas and Tadas Klimavicius shared 12 each while Mantas Kalnietis added 9 points. Tomas Delininkaitis and Marcus Brown scored 8 points each as Trent Plaisted contributed with 7.
Lietuvos Rytas’ big man from Bosnia, Kenan Bajramovic was the top-scorer of the game with 21 points also adding 9 rebounds. D.J. Strawberry and Milko Bjelica both had 11 points as Martynas Gecevicius chipped in with 8.
