“Miss Cheerleader. League of Beauty!” competition is underway 0

The VTB United League is excited to present an official cheerleading contest! The most captivating members from each of the League’s 20 dance teams will compete for the votes of basketball fans across the league. The title of Miss Cheerleader is at stake.

The «Miss Cheerleader. League of Beauty!» contest (40 girls, two from each team, will participate) will consist of five preliminary rounds and a final. Cheerleaders will advance through each round based on fan votes («likes»), which can be cast on the League’s Facebook and Vkontakte pages.

The first four rounds of the competition will last two weeks – in March and April. 10 girls will compete in each one. The four winners of those rounds – the participants who collect the most votes online within their group of ten – will advance to the final.

The fifth finalist will named in May based on a fifth qualifying round. 10 girls from the previous four rounds – the second and third-place finishers, as well as the top two fourth-place competitors (based on total votes) – will be given one more chance.

The final round will be held during the 2012/13 VTB United League finals. The five finalists will be invited to one of the finals games, during which the first-ever Miss Cheerleader will be crowned!
