LKL: Zalgiris gets the third win in a row 6

Zalgiris Kaunas played a solid match and defeated BC Vytautas 79:66 (19:14, 19:19, 26:14, 15:19) on Sunday at Zalgirio arena.

The greens played a good first quarter defensively and led 19:14 at the end of it.

The second quarter was very competitive. At one point Vytautas was on top, but Zalgiris came back and led 38:33 before the halftime.

Zalgiris started to play even better and took off in the third period behind two three-point shots by Kevin Pangos – 64:47.

The defending champions never looked back and closed out solidly – 79:66.

Augusto Lima dominated the game with 12 points and 9 rebound for Zalgiris. Paulius Jankunas also scored 12 and made 5 assists.

Mindaugas Kupsas got 14 for Vytautas, Saulius Kulvietis scored 12.

    Atrodo, kad Žalgiris privalo atleisti B. Motumą ir vietoj jo pasiimti šoklų, lengvajį krašto puolėją, kurių tikrai daug atkris NBA prieš prasidedant sezonui…

    Treniruočių pobūdžio rungtynės. Bent jau toks susidarė įspūdis, stebint Šeškų. 3 kelinyje rezultatas dar buvo apylygis, tačiau Žalgiris spurtavo, o Šeškus į tai nereagavo niekaip, nepaėmė nei 1 min pertraukėlės nei 3, nei 4 kelinukuose. Kai buvo +20 minutinės jau buvo nereikalingos.

    Paulius turi tempti komanda vienas , vel nera aukstesnio meistriskumo zaideju, ka darysim eurolygoje kol kas neisivaizduoju, pangos tikrai nepatrauks, o daugiau nera kam, nera lyderiu
