Masiulis and Valinskas carry Zalgiris to big win in Siauliai 2

It was a great day at the office for the Lithuanian champions as Zalgiris Kaunas maintained its position at the top of the Betsafe LKL table with a win on Sunday evening.

Zalgiris improved to a 10-1 record with an easy 80-51 win on the road against Siauliai with the team’s youngsters Gytis Masiulis and Paulius Valinskas leading the way with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Vasilije Micic added 10 points in just 15 minutes of action, while Omar Prewitt scored 11 points for Siauliai, and the pair of Laurynas Birutis and Donatas Sabeckis scored 10 points apiece.

It was the eighth loss in a row for Siauliai, who are now 2-9.
