#TimeOutZalgiris visits Vitoria 0

Thursday evening had Zalgiris matching up against Baskonia in the 24th round of the EuroLeague. Spearheaded by Dalia Belickaite, the Zalgiris TV and #TimeOutZalgiris crew jumped right into the backstage of the event.

As per usual, a good number of traveling fans joined the team in its away game. Some of them had purchased the tickets beforehand, the others had a wink of good fortune and won the tickets. One of those lucky travelers was the 5-millionth Zalgirio Arena visitor.

“It was all really simple. We got a ticket as a present firstly, and then I came to the arena and turned out to be the 5 millionth visitor. I’ve loved everything so far. It’s my first time in Spain, everything’s great. The city’s beautiful, the flight was unbelievable. Probably happened the first and last time in my life.”

Another Zalgiris fan got lucky with a purchase of a single bottle of Vytautas mineral water, as he won the ticket after registering his receipt.

“The flight was great; the plane was very impressive. The arena is nice and big. Just a bit empty. We kind of hoped it’d be fuller.”
