Erikas Venskus reacts about scoring team’s 100th point 0

The bench went wild and coach Sarunas Jasikevicius had nothing else to do but shake his head with a smile when Erikas Venskus dropped the team’s 100th point in the game against Siauliai.

“They must have thought that I’d be buying dinner… Although if I heard Antanas correctly, he said he’d take the load off my shoulders if I made the shot.”

The 18-year-old played his highest-scoring game in his short Betsafe-LKL career, posting 8 points in 10 minutes on 4-of-6 shooting.

The big man is looking at every opportunity to improve and use his chances on the court.

“Everyone around me has remarks and observations. I hear them. The coaches, the point guards share their experience. I keep a close look on Brandon Davies’ moves. I’m learning from everyone.”
