#ZalgirisChallenge. Kriisa and Jokubaitis teaching each other their native languages 0
As the new season is stepping on our heels, Zalgiris TV returns with the latest episode of the highly popular #ZalgirisChallenge. This time, it’s a Baltic exchange, as two young Zalgiris players Rokas Jokubaitis and Kerr Kriisa tried their hand at each other’s mother tongues.
It soon became clear that the task seemed way more manageable for the Estonian Kriisa, as he seemed adept at reading and translating from the difficult Lithuanian language.
Meanwhile, Rokas Jokubaitis was left shellshocked, as he tried reading whatever was written in Estonian.
“What is this with these double e’s and a’s?” – he wondered.
After five sentences in one language or the other, Kerr Kriisa delivered a ruthless verdict on who performed better.
“He needs to learn a little bit more than he knows now. It was kind of horrible. A total disaster. We will see, maybe he will do some progress.” – said the Estonian, keeping a straight face.
Both basketball players will continue exchanging language skills, but also look to share the court in Kriisa’s home country, as Zalgiris heads out to Tallinn to face Kalev/Cramo in a friendly game on the 8th of September.
