Zalgiris defeats Kalev/Cramo in Tallinn 12
Zalgiris enjoyed a packed Saku Suurhall in their friendly game against Kalev/Cramo in Tallinn, as they reached another victory in their preparation run. The green-and-whites defeated the Estonian champions 95-71 (16-16, 30-12, 25-20, 24-22).
The game started off with a neck-to-neck run-out, as it was all tied up after the opening 10 minutes. However, Zalgiris took initiative in the second quarter, running off to a large margin and enjoying an 18-point advantage at halftime.
The Lithuanians didn’t slow it down, and with the help of Kerr Kriisa, who scored 10 points in just 6 minutes against his compatriots, coasted to an easy victory.
Zalgiris was led by a 19-point outing by Arturas Milaknis, who nailed 5-of-5 from behind the arc. Zach LeDay and Alex Perez had 15 and 13 points respectively, while Kerr Kriisa, Martinas Geben and Matas Jogela ended up with 10.
