Behind the scenes: Milaknis shows Zalgiris’ medical procedures 0

Zalgiris spent the last few days in Turkey, preparing for the season in the Gloria Sports complex and competing in the Gloria Cup tournament.

After practices, players often make their way to the medical room, where they have the chance to relax and reset with a massage or other procedures. Zalgiris TV gives the fans an inside look of how it all happens.

Arturas Milaknis and the Zalgiris TV crew visited one of the hotel rooms, where doctor Andrius Aukstakalnis and masseur Romas Petraitis went through some procedures with Thomas Walkup, Martinas Geben and Arturas Milaknis himself.

Walkup was having a dry needle procedure, and once Milaknis laid down on the massage table, it was Romas Petraitis’ time to shine.

During the season, the two specialists work with the youth team, but they were filling in for Vytautas Kailius and Paulius Jacikas, who were out in China with the Lithuanian men’s national team.
