Zalgiris preparing for spooky Halloween night, as they take on Zenit 7
On the eve of Halloween Zalgiris is set for another EuroLeague test, as Zenit St. Petersburg will be in town for the festive atmosphere. This Wednesday, prepare to not only lay your eyes on a spooky mood, but also to become part of the show.
After two consecutive victories in Europe’s premier basketball league, the green-and-whites take on a challenge from the league’s newcomers. Guided by Joan Plaza, Zenit has so far secured their only win of the season in Piraeus, where they defeated Olympiacos in an overtime thriller.
As Zalgiris’ men give their all on the court, plenty of surprises await during the breaks, as we will have Latvian show crew Street Warriors, who’ve got a thrilling performance set for a thrilling night.
Meanwhile, the usual Dance Cam will be replaced by the Horror Cam, and everybody around will have the chance to put masks on, but also show their true faces. Expect the host and the cheerleaders to turn it up a notch, too!
However, the fans are the ones setting the atmosphere and Wednesday night is no different. We urge you to bring out your best Halloween costumes for the night! The ones who think their costume got game, should meet us at 19:00 under the 116-117 sector, where they will be honored with special roles for the team’s presentation. The fans who put the best effort will be a part of the introduction and will be seen all over the world.
The ones who didn’t quite have the time to show their creativity, should meet us in the first and thirld floor, where their faces will be painted according to the theme by participants of the Sport has the Power to Change and members of the Sports Volunteering Union.
All fans are welcomed and invited to come to the game early, as the doors open at 18:00 on Wednesday! As usual in all of Zalgiris EuroLeague home games, the Zalgiris Express busses will be taking fans to and from the arena from 9 different cities all over Lithuania.
