Zalgiris extends the streak to nine 1

Zalgiris Kaunas finished the first quarter of the regular season without a single loss. Betsafe LKL champions 91-65 defeated Sintek-Dzukija Alytus and recorded the ninth straight win.

The guests started the game by scoring 7 straight points but a sharp shooting by Alytus team gave them a 17-18 lead after 10 minutes.

Zalgiris felt behind 23-31 in the second period and only Arturas Milaknis three-pointer on the buzzer gave Kaunas team a narrow 40-39 halftime lead.

Things changed in the third quarter, as Zalgiris used a 17-3 run to start the second half. It allowed visitors to run away completely.

Jock Landale scored 14 points for the winners. Martinas Geben added 12 points and 8 rebounds, while Milaknis finished with 11.

Logan McLane scored 12 points for Alytus side.
