Zalgiris wins on the road in Betsafe LKL 2

Zalgiris Kaunas celebrated victory on the road on Sunday. Reigning Betsafe LKL champions 91-82 defeated Juventus Utena.

The first 10 minutes were close, as the guests led only 21-19. Zalgiris used a 10-0 run to end the second quarter to have 47-35 halftime lead.

The margin grew to 70-53 at the end of the third quarter, as the last 10 minutes became a formality.

Sarunas Jasikevicius decided to rest Thomas Walkup and that ended with a career game for Rokas Jokubaitis. Youngster scored 19 points, dished eight assists and reached 24 efficiency rating.

Arturas Milaknis was the leading scorer for Zalgiris with 20 points. Zach LeDay needed only 14 minutes to collect 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.
